Lobstermans Day Off

Few folks get up earlier than farmers and fishermen. But even they need a day off from time to time. This beautiful small, local lobster boat at White Horse Beach in Plymouth, Massachusetts sat a few hundred yard off the edge of a sand bar at low tide very early one summer morning. Just before the tide could come in I was able to capture this rock in the foreground lined up perfectly with the boat. It was an oddly calm morning on the Cape Cod coast.
