Bonneville Salt Flats Welcome Center, Utah

You may have seen in one of the other Bonneville prints, that the welcome center is nothing more than a truck stop with a bathroom and a plaque. Having seen so many serene and awe-inducing photos of Bonneville, I felt the need to capture what it really looks like when you arrive. That first view as you step out of your car and head towards the plaque. This is that view, with the 1970s designed concrete sun covers blanketing both concrete picnic tables and a few parking spots with the salt flats just 30-40 yards beyond.
