Mountains in Bonneville, Utah

Bonneville is known for a lot of things, usually, auto or speed-related. But ultimately it’s just a sale flat next to the highway between Salt Lake City, UT and West Wendover, NV. It’s a truck stop with a bathroom, and a view you’ve never seen. It’s serene and alien at the same time. And at sunrise, it is pure magic as the salt reflects every color of the sun and sky as the light pours in from the east. But at its core, it is stark and empty and vast…so incredibly vast. Those mountains were miles and miles away but felt like I could easily walk to them in 15 minutes. It’s the perfect landscape.
