The Biltmore is THE marker for Asheville, so getting to share Elaine and Kristin’s first time to town AND getting to photograph their Biltmore House engagement session for them was even more fun. A decade ago, I couldn’t even imagine this.

During one of their Zoom sessions Dustin and James said: “We could come out to Asheville and do our engagement photos there, or if you are up for it, we’d love to have you out here in Colorado.” To which I responded, “You had me at ‘if you are up for it.”

Passionate. Fun. Loving. Supportive. Admiration. These are some of the words I would use to describe Andrea and Jose’s Eno River Park Engagement session. Plus it ends with a kitten, and I hear that some people like those, so come and check out their photos!

In-home engagement sessions are pretty amazing. Partly because it allows me to get to know my couples that much better by seeing some of their routines, as we are all most comfortable in our own homes as opposed to some random location. But also because it allows it to be just us; no onlookers, no traffic, no parking issues...just some quality time.
